Gerrymandering in Minnesota

Speaker: Annastacia Belladonna Carrera, Executive Director, Common Cause Minnesota

Carrera will speak about Minnesota’s redistricting process, the role of the census, and how parties disenfranchise voters through gerrymandering. Her focus is on advancing intergenerational socio-economic equity for all Minnesotans. This may be hindered by a lack of transparency and dark money, making government work for a few while advancing restrictive voting laws for the poor, the isolated, and the vulnerable. Carrera will speak about what we can do to guard our democracy.
