Leaders: Dick Thorsen and Mariel Wolter

What began as a straight-forward mission intensifies into a much more complex situation. Museum in the Streets: Lake Street
Joyce Wisdom, Executive Director, Lake Street Council

This project – free walking tours – features three bilingual heritage/discovery walks for the benefit of Lake Street communities and visitors. The walks foster a sense of historical identity; educate; encourage preservation of local historic sites; and promote the knowledge of the stories, events, and traditions of Lake Street. They also affirm our urban renewal projects and provide a structure for school outings. Learn more about this exceptional project and how you can participate in these walks.
