    Discussion Leader: Mary Moriarty
    Travel to the coast of Ireland in 1983 and read about a man who makes a deathbed confession to the village priest but doesn’t “tell all.” His wife of 50 years is left to tell the rest of their story – “the all of it.” The reader will feel immersed in Ireland, salmon fishing, and a beautiful story that offers a moral dilemma that the priest handles with love and compassion.

THE ARTS: Penumbra Summer Institute Program

Speaker: Sarah Bellamy, Associate Director, Penumbra Theatre

Sarah will describe the Summer Institute Program that she designed as a leadership development program for teens, to practice art for social change, to eliminate racism, and promote social justice and equity. For a set period in each of three consecutive summers, students are immersed in curriculum and frontline advocacy work that culminates in a public performance of an original theatrical piece. -Jeanne Bearmon
