Somewhere in midlife or later, we realize that careers, jobs, family responsibilities, and our health have changed. Goldman believes that disadvantages and drawbacks of getting older have received far too much attention. Her presentation will reflect on individual ways to bloom – to continue learning, growing, finding new challenges, examining values, and contemplating individual possibilities. -Sheila Lind

Speaker: Angus W. MacDonald III, Associate Professor, University of Minnesota Department of Psychology
Good things tend to make us happy for a little while. Then we come to expect them and return to our average level of happiness.
