A death sparks a conflict over a family heirloom. An unexpected friendship begins with Mrs. Jasmina Ali, the Pakistani shopkeeper from the village. They are drawn together by their shared love of literature and mature love develops. But, the village labels her as an outsider. Can their relationship survive the risks of pursuing happiness in the face of culture and tradition?”
