Speakers: Michael Bjornberg, Architect Marais Bjornberg, Architect
Award-winning architect Michael Bjornberg will share photos and stories of his preservation projects in Minnesota and around the country, including our lovely Cass Gilbert State Capitol. His daughter, Marais, will add stories and photos from her preservation projects working for the Minnesota State Historical Society, including Fort Snelling and the James J. Hill House.

Treating Mind, Body, and Spirit in the Black Community
Speaker: Pam White, Nurse Practitioner, Owner, Health Empowerment Resource (HER) Center
This dynamic medical professional will describe the founding of HER clinic in north Minneapolis, where she dispenses healthcare–and love–to 600 members of the community. She often teaches them about HIV-AIDS and PTSD as well. Opened in 2011, White’s is one of the first Minnesota healthcare facilities owned and operated by a nurse practitioner.
