Her story of resilience, faith, and hope is the roadmap and inspiration for courageously being who you are and loving who you are. Her Dancing Soul Trilogy: Africa’s Child, America’s Daughter, and Drum Beats, Heart Beats,reveal the poignant story of a woman with roots in East Africa. She came to the United Stares as a teen and now shares her gifts with us and the world.

Young has always used her feet to find peace, strength, and solace. However, upon returning from a hike across New Zealand, everything in her life changed. To achieve solace again, she did what she always does—she hiked—this time 2,640 miles from Canada to Mexico on the Pacific Crest Trail. You will be thrilled by her photos, stories, and humor.
