Speaker: Diane Hagen, Retired Social Worker, Researcher and Portrayer of Laura Ingalls Wilder

Laura Ingalls Wilder “joins” us this morning to speak of her literary pursuits and her acclaimed children’s series that she began at age 65. Learn from as well as enjoy this performance that speaks of the inspiration and writing process of the famed Little House on the Prairie author as portrayed by Hagen. Wilder will reflect on her life and inspiration to write and achieve later in life.

Working Together for Clean Water

For the past 51 years, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District has been protecting some of the most iconic waters in the state of Minnesota–Lake Minnetonka, the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes, and the Minnehaha Creek, to name a few. Mamayek will address initiatives and activities the District uses to execute its mission to protect valuable water resources and how you can help.
