Closing Day Programs Awards and Recognition

On the lower level, enjoy viewing art, crafts, and handiwork created by our members. SubText Books, our 1:15 program, will have books for sale, as will Marty Brounstein, our 9:45 speaker.

Two Among the Righteous Few: A Story of Courage in the Holocaust

Speaker: Marty Brounstein, Author

Brounstein brings a true, inspirational story of courage, compassion, and rescue about a Christian couple in the Netherlands who, despite much risk and danger, saved the lives of over two dozen Jews during the Holocaust and World War II. He has a meaningful personal connection to this story and its heroes, which he reveals in his engaging storytelling presentation.

Books to Enrich Your Summer

Speaker: Sue Zumberge, owner of SubText Books http://subtextbooks.com

You may prefer light reading during hot days at the beach, or perhaps summer is your time to delve more deeply into a chosen topic. In either case, Zumberge will offer suggestions for books to enhance your summer days. SubText Books, St. Paul’s independent bookstore, is located in downtown St. Paul. Books will be available for purchase during the day.
