The Next Iteration of Public Schools

Speaker: Mary Cecconi, Former Policy Director of Parents United for Public Schools

It’s hard for public schools to effectively educate 100% of their students. Cecconi’s trajectory in the education arena, as a licensed teacher, administrator, and elected school board member catapulted her to the state level to work on education policy. Cecconi will trace the current situation of funding and results, changing demographics, and expectations for our students. She will suggest that we are on the crest of a new iteration for our schools. What will those new schools look like?
