Speaker: Otto Doll, Chief Information Officer (CIO), City of Minneapolis, minneapolismn.gov/it/ The city of Minneapolis is using big-data tools to analyze and predict trends throughout the city, from predicting crime to determining which parcels of vacant land are more attractive to developers. “The intention of this program is to help coordinate information between and among the various departments to help make our public services more efficient and more useful to the residents of Minneapolis,” so says Betsy Hodges.
