Speaker: Tenzin Tsetan, President, Regional Tibetan Youth Congress of Minnesota

Tsetan’s presentation will follow a timeline of Tibet’s history beginning from the reign of His Holiness the 13th Dalai Lama. Learn about Tibetan settlements in exile after China’s occupation of Tibet in 1959. Tsetan will also highlight the current political situation inside Tibet and recent cases of Tibetan self-immolations. -Mary Beaumont
