Elect Her – Campus Women Win

On February 23, the University of Minnesota will host an Elect Her – Campus Women Win workshop and are looking for volunteers for the event. This is a good opportunity for many of us to volunteer and to learn more about this program/training.

Elect Her – Campus Women Win, a collaboration between AAUW and Running Start, encourages and trains college women to run for student government on their campuses. Elect Her acknowledges the necessity to build the pipeline of women running for office in order to diminish the long-standing political leadership gender gap. Any students who attend the selected campuses can participate in the training.

Below is the list of volunteer needs for the event. If you or someone in your Branch is interested in volunteering, please contact Anitra Cottledge at cottlead@umn.edu or Sara Pennebecker at penne048@umn.edu.
