Since 2011, countries have endured many thwarted but also successful terrorist attacks. Rowley states that 9/11 gave the war hawks an opportunity to ignite a series of illegal destructive wars in the Middle East and to usher in a variety of violations of the Constitution, all of which are currently resulting in severe blow-back.
